Second Skin Events is set to present its ‘Bride Warz’ event next month at The Marriott Hotel in Queen Square. On Sunday, October 5, the highly-anticipated wedding show with a twist will showcase a wide range of discounted designer bridal fashion. From 12:30pm, visitors will be able to browse through the stunning bridal, bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses, all of which will be priced at £250 or less. Luxury labels will include Mori Lee, Enzoani, Lasposa and Alexia Couture. Director of Second Skin Events Stephanie Hughes said: “Not only will guests be able to purchase beautiful discounted designer dresses, but they will also have the opportunity to receive expert advice when it comes to planning their dream wedding.” Throughout the day, brides-to-be will be greeted by an array of specialist exhibitors including jewellery, shoes, hats/fascinators, as well as cakes and photographers to offer a 360 degree wedding experience. Stephanie added: “We look forward to welcoming brides from across the North West to a day filled with nuptial necessities. We are certain that the afternoon will be both inspirational and enjoyable for everyone that attends.” Bride Warz will take place at the Marriot Hotel in Queens Square on Sunday, October between 12:30pm-4:30pm. Liverpool’s iconic St George’s Hall has announced details of its annual magical grotto – and it promises to be even bigger and better for Christmas 2014. Santa’s Magical Grotto sets the scene for an exciting festive season when it opens each weekend from 15 November to 7 December. It then opens daily between 13 and 23 December.
